Dear Friend,

Shalom and warmest greetings to you from our God the Father and the Lord Jesus the Messiah. Thank you very much for your partnership with us. Thank you very much for your support by prayers and financial giving. May your faith never be shaken and may God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, God of Israel bless you abundantly!

On September 8 (Elul 29), in the evening, we are going to begin celebrate the Tishri month Holidays: Zihron Trua, Yom Kippur, and Succoth.

We know that Scripture tells us about all the feasts in Leviticus 23. These Holydays are: Sabbath, Pesach (Passover) and Hag-Ha-Matzah (the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Sfirat Haomer (the Early First fruits, Shavuot (the latter first Fruits: Pentecost, Zihron Trua-Festival of Trumpets (Rosh-ha-Shanah in Rabbinical tradition), Yom Kippur (the day of atonement, and Succoth (The feast of Tabernacle (Thanksgiving). Eight holydays. But Shabbat has a very special and separate meaning and place. It is called the first holyday. And after that we read: “These are the feast of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.” (Lev. 23:4). So, the Pesach (Passover) was the first spiritual and prophetical meaning. First feast symbolized the redemption and the last one – the glory of the Millennium. The lamb of Pesach (Passover) was the symbol of the death of Messiah (I Cor. 5:7) and the Succoth (the Feast of the prophets) symbolized “the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” (Acts 3:21). Between those points located resurrection of The Messiah (Lev. 23:10-14), building of church (Lev 23: 15-21), condition of Israel for her lost glory (Lev. 23:24 -25), her repentance and conversion to Mashiah (the Messiah; Lev. 23:27-32). All of that brings together the completeness of God’s perfection into prototype picture: the Lamb’s blood, the resurrection of the Messiah, His ascension, descent of the Holy Spirit in the fire of the Pentecost for the formation of the church, spiritual awakening of the remnant of Israel, her repentance and restoration, appearance of glory, the rest and prosperity of the kingdom.

What a great weeping, what a deep contrition, repentance will seize the remnant of the Jewish under the influence of the Holy Spirit, when they will confess in all their old sins, in their negligent attitude to Shabbat, in violation of the law, in the death of prophets, in the crucifixion of the Son of God, in position which they show to the Holy Spirit! “In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the House of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.” (Zech 13:1)

The Succoth (The Feast of Tabernacles; Lev. 23:33 -43) foreshow the glory, awaiting Israel in the last time and this holyday finish all the row of Jewish feasts. This is anticipation of the time, in which restored tribes of Israel will rest under the shadow of “sukkah” (tents) of the Millennium in the land, which God had swore to give forever to Abraham and for his descendants. It will be the most glorified time of meeting of heavenly and earthly, as it say in the first and eight’s days (the first and the last) of the Succoth (Feast of Tabernacles): “…Saith the Lord, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; and the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.” (Hos 2:21-22)This is a brief picture of the future, which is showing to us on the pages of the revelation of God. Wonderful blessing The Lord has prepared for His people; for all who are saved and for Israel.

In the month of July, I witnessed to more than 50 people. In the apartment complex, I witnessed to a Russian Jewish elder group who played cards outside. There were 5 people. Three of them told me that they don’t need God, but two of them received books from me.

In the science center where my family went, I had an opportunity to witness to one Jewish worker, whose relatives came from Russia. When I witnessed and showed him the NT, the Jewish man told me that if his wife finds it, she will throw away the book into the garbage. I continued to witness with him, and the man accepted the NT. Praise God. Another religious Jew from NJ whom I met in the same center told me that he heard about Jesus before, but doesn’t believe that Jesus is the Messiah. This Jewish man denied taking from me brochures.

In the last month while I was traveling to Sacramento, I had an opportunity to witness to a young Jewish man in the airport. When I came to the airport to take my flight at 6 A.M., I figure out that the flight is overbooked. The Delta worker offered me good deal $400 as a volunteer to change my flight which will bring me to Sacramento a 7 P.M. It was not good for me, and I denied the offer because I needed to be in Sacramento at 11 A.M. But the Delta worker offered me another flight which should bring me to Sacramento at 11A.M. what I had originally. And this flight was better than my original because it should avoid Detroit airport. The worker told me that because it is a better flight, they are not going to pay me as a volunteer, but I also don’t need to pay them. I accepted. When I came to my new gate, after 30 minutes I figured out that my new flight is going to be delayed for 3 and a half hours. It means that I am going to miss my flight from Minneapolis to Sacramento and the next flight I am going to take should bring me to Sacramento at 7P.M. First what I thought that why I denied the first offer of $400. While I was standing in the line to speak with Delta worker, one young man came to me, and started to look at me. I asked him if he knows me. He asked me if I lived in Israel because I had a T-shirt with Hebrew letters. I answered yes. The man told me that he has a brother who studies in a religious school in Israel. When I started to speak with the man and figured out that he is Jewish, I understood why God did all these things with the delay of the flights. So the next 3 and half hours, I had an opportunity to witness to the man. I witnessed and explain to the man the past, current, and future of Israel. But sure, my main target was Jesus. The man accepted from me a NT, opened it, and was reading it in front of me. He said that it is good to hear about Jesus. He said that his father is a doctor, and they used to live in Ohio. But now they live in Montana. Please pray for them.

On the end of my trip, in Atlanta airport, I met another Jewish young man whose father is a big rabbi in LA. I also witnessed to him for more than 3hours. It was blessing for me.

Thank you again for your help to support and prayers for us. If God leads you to start or continue to help us financially, please send your donations to the Beth-El Messianic Ministries and Congregation, P.O. Box 360165, Cleveland, OH, 44136.

Thank you for your prayers for my family and myself.May the Lord of Israel richly bless you. Happy Holidays. Shalom. In the Lord-Messiah Yeshua, Bethel Messianic Congregation and Brother Igor. Elul 2 , 5770 --- August 12 , 2010.
