Meet the Pastor
 | Ken
& Shelley Sowers have been a team serving God for over 30 years.
They married as high school sweethearts in 1975 and served as lay
leaders in church from the start. In the fall of 1991, they felt a call
by God to plant a church in Mentor. Ken left his teaching career at
Madison in 2005 to devote his full energies to Prince of Peace. Ken is involved in developing leaders and preaching, guiding the church as lead pastor.
Shelley serves on staff as an administrative support for the church. She is on the Elder board and is passionate about her gifts of outreach, music and organization. Shelley is a graduate of Lake Erie College with a degree in Elementary Education. |
Nicole
also has a teaching degree and teaches out of her home. She has two children, Emmaline and Josiah.
Christy
and Matt Alvord live in Willoughby - in the house her great
grandparents lived. Christy teaches in Willoughby. Matt works with AT&T and the
Coast Guard Reserves - They have a son Tanner.
Ken Sowers III graduated with a degree to teach Middle school Science and Social Studies.
